Overview
Directed by Harjit Singh Ricky, Sirphire marks the debut of 3 fine actors in Punjabi Cinema, namely Priyanshu Chatterjee who has been a part of Bollywood Blockbusters like Julie and Tum Bin. Also there is Monica Bedi, who has given many successful films with the likes of Sanjay Dutt and was once a blue-eyed girl for director David Dhawan.
Last but not the least, the film marks the debut of a very famous Punjabi singer turned actor Preet Harpal. Preet has been among the top league of singers of the present generation and has various Hit albums to his name: Lock Up, Saturday Nights and Nashele Nain. Very few know that he has also penned the lyrics of a lot of super hit songs, Jihne Mera Dil Lutiya by Jazzy B being one of them.
This is the third film for another singer turned actor, Roshan Prince. Unfortunaltely his last two outings Lagda Ishq Ho Gaya and Kabaddi: Once Again, both have been major disappointments at the box office. The film also starrs Binnu Dhillon, Karamjit Anmol and Gurleen Chopra.
