‘Mitran nu Shaunk Hathyaran Da’ to release on July 19: Punjabi Mania presents before you another Punjabi movie announcement for the year 2019.

Director Sagar S. Sharma, who will make a comeback in the Punjabi film industry after six years with his upcoming movie named ‘Jugni Yaaran Di‘, will helm another movie this year named ‘Mitran nu Shaunk Hathyaran Da’. It is worth mentioning that Sharma has directed ‘Burrraahh‘ (2012) and ‘Heer & Hero‘ (2013). He also made his Bollywood debut with the movie named ‘Titli‘.

The announcement of the movie has been made a few minutes ago. The movie will release on July 19 this year.

It is evident from the title and poster of the movie that it will be based on the crime genre, something which is a rarity in the contemporary Punjabi film industry. The script of the movie has been written by Kumar Ajay.

‘Mitran nu Shaunk Hathyaran Da’ is being produced by Munna Shukul, Shikha Sharma and Sukhwinder Singh under the banners of Shukul Showbiz, UV Motion Pictures and Sagar S. Sharma.

It is worth mentioning that producer Shukul is originally from Gujarat and will be making his debut in the Punjabi film industry with this movie. Both him and Sharma are currently working on a Gujarati movie named ‘Chaashni‘, which will also be released this year. It is indeed a blessing for the Punjabi industry that people from varying backgrounds see potential over here.
