Singer-turned-actor-turned-producer Ammy Virk has finally released the trailer of his next Punjabi movie titled 'Aaja Mexico Challiye'. Had it not been for multiple delays including a change in title, Aaja Mexico Challiye would've released last year only.
Considering the manner in which the Punjabi film industry has received a halt due to the third wave of COVID-19 in India, Aaja Mexico Challiye will be among the first movies to release in the cinema halls in their attempt of brining back cinephiles to where they belong.
Virk, who has produced the movie in company with Gurpreet Singh and Daljit Singh Thind under the banners of Ammy Virk Productions and Thind Motion films, has decided to release the movie on February 25.
Aaja Mexico Challiye's trailer had released on the official YouTube channel of Burfi Music (Virk's own music label) yesterday. At the time of writing this article, the trailer has received in excess of 2.5 million views on the same platform.

Aaja Mexico Challiye's title might remind audiences of lyricist-turned-singer Karan Aujla's single track titled 'Mexico Koka' (2021) but the movie is expected to be a lot more serious in spite of the addition of some comic sequences involving Nasir Chinyoti and Zafri Khan.
The movie will witness Virk playing an illegal immigrant trying to enter USA via Mexico. A lot of youngsters from the sub-continent have faced dire consequences of walking on this ardous route in real life and the movie appears to be based on their journey. As mentioned above, the 213-second trailer gives the impression of Aaja Mexico Challiye being inclined more towards the comic side but fans can expect a much serious version whilst watching the whole movie.
Writer Rakesh Dhawan, whose two most successful projects lie in writing the 'Chal Mera Putt' series and 'Honsla Rakh' (2021), will be making his directorial debut with Aaja Mexico Challiye. For someone who has written a three-movie series around illegal immigrants' life, one can expect him to have done a praiseworthy job in Aaja Mexico Challiye.
In addition to Virk, Chinyoti and Khan, Aaja Mexico Challiye also stars Sukhwinder Chahal, Honey Mattu, Mintu Kappa, Yasaman Mohsani, Baljinder Kaur, Sikander Ghuman and Shehbaaz Singh in pivotal roles.
