In which is arguably the biggest and the most astonishing announcement made this year so far, two stalwarts in Amrinder Gill and Diljit Dosanjh are coming together for their upcoming project titled ‘Jodi’. Can’t fathom the development in the first go? Neither could we.

The announcement has been made in the morning by the names associated sharing it on their respective social media handles. As has been the usual trend in the recent times with Rhythm Boyz’s movies, Jodi will be written and will be directed by Amberdeep Singh. The poster which has been shared as of now doesn’t name the leading actress, other actors or even the release date of the movie. The film will be produced under Rhythm Boyz Entertainment and Dosanjhawala Productions.

Rhythm Boyz have been A Tour De Force Enterprise in the Punjabi Film Industry when it comes to Producing Quality Cinema in terms of films like Angrej, Love Punjab, Lahoriye, Vekh Barattan Challiyan to name a few but Diljit Dosanjh’s Dosanjhawala Productions will be venturing into Film Production for the 1st time ever. The Project has been Designed by Gurpreet Palheri.

One interesting things which the audience will be looking forward to is that Weather Diljit & Amrinder Share Screen Space as well ninth film. Punjabi Cinema Audiences have had the privilege to see both the superstars sharing the silver screen in 2013’s Dheeraj Rattan Directorial Saadi Love Story. Given the stature and the fan following of the names involved, waiting for this collaboration to unfold on the silver screen will unequivocally be a daunting task.
