Director Pankaj Batra’s Bambukat starring Ammy Virk, Binnu Dhillon and others which was scheduled for release on September 9 has been preponed for a summer release on July 29. A lot of films had been casually announced for release on July 29, but the team of Bambukat is the first to make a formal announcement of their arrival on the date.

Films like Carry On Jatta 2, Lock and Amberdeep Singh’s directorial debut had earlier announced their arrival. However, as of now it looks like a possibility of yet another clash between Amrinder Gill and Gippy Grewal. The 2 have already clashed once against each other on March 11 this year when Love Punjab and Ardaas opened against each other. But now Lock which stars Gippy Grewal and Bambukat has Karaj Gill as producer of Rhythm Boyz which is owned by brothers Amrinder Gill and Karaj Gill.

We at Punjabi Mania do not want yet another clash between any 2 Punjabi films but looks like it is the ego which sometimes gets in the way of the producers. Interestingly, a week earlier i.e. July 22 is also sounding like a clashing week where Needhi Singh and Daara will lock horns against each other at the box office. However no formal announcement of the release date of Daara has been made.
