First Day First Show
Ambarsariya has been received warmly by the audience on Day one. Occupancy levels at multiplexes around the state and Delhi have been high. The film is expected to put up a very good first day total. Ambarsariya recorded a very strong start with the 2nd highest opening ever for a Punjabi film. The all India collections were around 2.10 crore nett with the breakup being as follows:

East Punjab – Rs 1.60 Crores
Delhi/UP – Rs 35 Lacs
Rest Of India – Rs 15 Lacs

Total – Rs 2.10 Crores

Ambarsariya is set to a very strong start in all the Overseas territories where it opened this weekend. The figures are as follows:

US/Canada – $ 125,000. [Rs 87.50 lacs]

England/UK – £ 28,213 [Rs 26.65 lacs]

Australia – AU$ 104,269 [Rs 52.33 lacs] – Including Thursday Previews

Opening Weekend  (India)

Ambarsariya has had a great opening weekend at the Box Office falling behind only Sardaarji which released last summer and this is all due to the other releases from Bollywood and Hollywood. Here are the day wise figures from All India.
