For Punjabi Film Industry, 2015 was the year of Diljit Dosanjh and Amrinder Gill. These were the two top grossers with their films doing amazing business worldwide at the box office. And in 2016 these two will turn fierce rivals as their next projects are lined up for release on the same date.

With Love Punjab already announce to release on March 25, 2016, Tips has also announced the same date for Ambarsariya. Diljit is starring in Ambarsariya whereas Amrinder Gill in Love Punjab. Of now both the films are under production stage.

Mandeep Kumar, who had earlier directed Jihne Mera Dil Luteya is directing Ambarsariya, whereas Rajiv Dhingra is directing Love Punjab.
