Diljit Dosanjh vs Amrinder Gill vs Badshah: July 26 will witness the clash of three illustrious names of the Punjabi entertainment industry.
There is no going in seclusion about the fact that contemporary Punjabi artists are dominating the music industry throughout the country. While the promise in some of them have seen them transforming into actors, the others are also making in serious efforts to play the all-round game.
Among the latest artists to don an actor’s coat is Badshah. Renowned music producer and rapper will be seen making his acting debut in upcoming Hindi movie titled ‘Khandaani Shafakhana’. While Badshah would be enthralled because of the same, he would also be aware about excessive competition on July 26, the release date of his movie.

Other than Badshah, actor Hardeep Gill will also be making his Bollywood debut with the movie. Khandaani Shafakhana will be actor Hobby Dhaliwal’s second Hindi movie.
Talking only about Hindi movies, Diljit Dosanjh-starer ‘Arjun Patiala’ is also slated to hit the silver screens on the same day, i.e., July 26. Although a Hindi movie, Dosanjh’s heavy fan base has it in it to cause a significant threat to the other movies.

Other than these two Hindi movies, July 26 will also see the release of Punjabi movie titled ‘Chal Mera Putt‘. With Amrinder Gill and Simi Chahal in lead roles, expect the movie to open to a handsome box-office collection despite two other Hindi movies releasing on the same day.

The best part about three movies releasing together is that all of them are based on highly contrasting subjects. Will Rhythm Boyz’s Chal Mera Putt be able to counter the attack by the Hindi movies (starring Punjabi artists) remains the big question at this point in time.
All in all, the last weekend of July will not just be a hectic for Punjabi artists but also for their fans. With so much to choose form, here is hoping for each movie to successfully reach its target audience and open on an affirmative note at the box-office.
