Janjot Singh's 'Chal Mera Putt 3' has put the director in a rare and elite company in terms of first three movies doing exceedingly well as far as box-office collections in the Punjabi film industry is concerned. Having made his debut with the first part in 2019, Janjot has given the audiences three films to cherish in as many years.

With Chal Mera Putt 3 entering its second week yesterday, the movie has managed to retain its high number of shows in both Punjab and overseas. More importantly, the movie has also ensured high footfalls in its second week across multiple centres.

As was the case in the first two parts, it is worth mentioning that Chal Mera Putt 3 is also receiving overwhelming response especially outside of India. The story of the franchise is such that it is bound to allure people who are living in other countries due to various reasons.

Considering how it is no more a secret that a fourth part of the franchise is also in the pipeline, sources close to the development have revealed to Punjabi Mania that Chal Mera Putt 4 is currently being written and that the shoot is expected to commence in February next year.

In such a scenario, one can expect Rhythm Boyz to release the fourth part in the summer of 2022. Known to release a movie in the last week of July, the makers might be tempted to restart the same trend after a two-year gap due to the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic.
