In a strongly worded social media post, Charan Kaur, mother of Sidhu Moosewala, denounced those behind the AI-manipulated images of her late son. Some social media posts have surfaced showing Moosewala without his turban, an alteration Kaur says is both offensive and unacceptable.

“Today, my son’s legacy is being mocked by those who didn’t understand his truth while he was alive,” she wrote. “His turban was part of his identity, his pride. Distorting that image dishonors not just him but Sikh values.”

She warned that repeated violations will not be taken lightly. “Anyone caught tampering with his photos again will face strict action. Sidhu lived with dignity and died with honor—let his memory remain that way.”
