Shannon K Becomes Next Indian-Origin Artist to Perform at Coachella After Diljit Dosanjh and AP Dhillon

Singer and actor Shannon K is all set to achieve a major milestone in her career as she joins the prestigious lineup for Coachella 2025, becoming one of the few Indian-origin artists to perform at the globally renowned music festival. Following in the footsteps of artists like Diljit Dosanjh and AP Dhillon, Shannon K will bring her unique sound to the iconic stage in California this month.

The daughter of legendary Bollywood playback singer Kumar Sanu, Shannon K will be the first Indie Indian-origin singer to represent India at Coachella this year. Notably, the festival is scheduled to be held across two weekends, April 11–13 and April 18–20, at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California. It is expected to draw over 120,000 music lovers from around the world.

In a statement issued by the singer, Shannon expressed her excitement, calling the moment a dream come true for Indian indie artists. She emphasized the global potential of Indian music, from classical to contemporary pop and R&B, and hoped her appearance would open new doors for South Asian musicians.

Known for her distinctive voice and dynamic stage presence, Shannon plans to deliver a performance that blends her original indie-pop hits with nostalgic Bollywood classics made famous by her father.
