The trailer of much-awaited forthcoming Punjabi movie titled 'Dil Diyan Gallan' had released yesterday on the official YouTube channel of Speed Records. Comments underneath the 176-second video give enough evidence of how well the trailer has been received by the public.

Dil Diyan Gallan will mark the directorial debut of Parmish Verma and Uday Partap Singh. The duo had earlier worked together in Vikram Thori's 'Rocky Mental'. While it was Verma's first movie as an actor, Uday Partap had written its screenplay and dialogues. It is worth mentioning that both of them have also co-written the script, screenplay and dialogues of the movie.

What makes Verma a quintessential wide-ranging artist is the fact that apart from his directing and writing credits, he has also played the lead role in the movie alongside Wamiqa Gabbi. With Dil Diyan Gallan slated to release on May 3, Gabbi now has two movies releasing on consecutive weeks, something which is rare for a Punjabi actress. Well done!

Going by the trailer, it portrays a vehement love story between the lead pair which tends to get deeply affected post her engagement. The trailer culminates with a 26-second pitiful dialogue on overseas students. How much of the same is comprised in the love story (and how) will be only be known after watching the movie.

The pinnacle of the trailer is the makers keeping some potential key moments under the carpet. With them not disclosing all their cards at this point in time, it is appreciable on their part for Punjabi trailers are mostly all-inclusive.

The lead pair being given sole emphasis throughout the trailer is its crowing moment. Having not mentioned the names of other actors, the makers have once again left the audiences guessing.
