The Bollywood rising star and the superstar of the Punjabi industry- Diljit Dosanjh, who is currently gearing up for his upcoming punjabi release ‘Shadaa’, is ready to roll for a new project which will go on the floors in August this year. After the Bollywood projects – Good News and Arjun Patiala, Diljit has signed one more Bollywood film. The film will star the diva of Bollywood and the ‘URI star’ Yami Gautam opposite Diljit in the movie. Diljit Dosanjh and Yami Gautam will be seen together for the first time in this yet to be titled comedy movie.

Yami has already done one comedy film in Bollywood, and this genre is most definitely Diljit’s forte as he has been a part of a lot of superhit comedy films in the Punjabi industry and is known for his exemplary humour and comic timing. The producer of the film, Ramesh Taurani confirmed about this film and said that the movie will be a sensible comedy and promised that the film will have an interesting and very different story.

According to reports, it is one of the last films written by Neeraj Vora who passed away in 2017. The movie will be directed by Aziz Mirza’s son Haroon, who will make his directorial debut with this film. Before venturing into direction, he had assisted his father in movies like Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman, Yes Boss and Paheli.

Currently, Diljit is actively promoting his upcoming Punjabi movie. He is also engrossed in his two other Bollywood films. Yami also just completed her first schedule of the Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar starrer film Bala. The shooting of the movie will start in August and the fans are looking forward to see this fresh jodi on the silver screen.
