Punjabi superstar Diljit Dosanjh is all set to take on a powerful and inspiring role in the upcoming war film Border 2. The actor will portray Flying Officer Nirmaljit Singh Sekhon, India’s only Param Vir Chakra-awarded Air Force officer, known for his extraordinary bravery during the 1971 Indo-Pak war.

A Tribute to a National Hero

Flying Officer Nirmaljit Singh Sekhon was posthumously awarded the Param Vir Chakra, India's highest military honor, for his courage and sacrifice in defending the Srinagar Air Base against a Pakistani air attack on December 14, 1971. His heroism and dedication to duty have become legendary in Indian military history.
