Do Dooni Panj Trailer Review: Amrit Maan confronts the education system

Do Dooni Panj Trailer Review: Punjabi Mania presents before you the full trailer review of upcoming Punjabi movie named 'Do Dooni Panj'.

Speaking of content-oriented movies in the Punjabi film industry, here is another potential project which gives the impression of falling into the same category. Titled 'Do Dooni Panj', the movie will become director Harry Bhatti's fourth directorial venture.

Slated to release on January 11, the trailer of the movie was released yesterday on the official YouTube channel of White Hill Music. At the time of writing this article, it has received in vicinity of 2.5 million views on the same platform.

Do Dooni Panj will see the director-actor duo of Bhatti and Amrit Maan work together for the second time in three months. Isha Rikhi, who was last seen in Gippy Grewal's 'Ardaas', will be seen after nearly three years in the Punjabi industry.

Apart from Maan and Rikhi, the movie stars an ensemble of actors in Rana Ranbir, Karamjit Anmol, Sardar Sohi, Harby Sangha, Nirmal Rishi, Rupinder Rupi, Malkeet Rauni, Tarsem Paul, Gurinder Makna, Preeto Sawhney, Nisha Bano, Sanju Solanki, Navdeep Kaler, Jaggi Dhuri, Sukhi Patran, Jatinder Suri, Harj Nagra, Divas, Ishpreet, Pritpal Singh Pali and Manjeet Singh.

It is evident from the trailer of the movie that it is an effort to raise question marks against the existing education system of our country. Maan, the protagonist in the movie, is a PhD-holder but struggles fair and square in getting a job. The fact that the same is the condition of plentiful well-educated youngsters in our country has it in it to make the movie relatable for them.

The presence of the trio of Ranbir, Anmol and Sangha gives the indication of some hysterical sequences in the movie. Having said that, it doesn't seem to be the prime motive of the movie which is expected to largely revolve around Maan's attempt of bringing a change in the prevailing system. It will be intriguing to see how an omnipresent subject is executed by the whole team under Bhatti.

It is worth mentioning that Maan, who has donned a turban for the first time in a movie, appears to be carrying it well especially with the kind of character he is playing.

Having co-produced Ardaas, music composer and rapper Badshah has produced the movie under the banner of Apra Films. While the trailer of the movie promises a lot, more about the same will only be known after watching the movie on January 11.
