Dev Kharoud’s much talked about film DSP Dev was worldwide released on 5 July this year. The film is based on a different and a new concept and has been very warmly received by the audience. The film had created a lot of buzz even before it’s release and it managed to retain the excitement and tingle amongst the audience even though it has been more than one week after it had hit the silver screen.

DSP Dev has successfully entered its second week. The film that is based on the cop theme has got an overwhelming response at the box office. Even though the movie is somewhat different from the mainstream and conventional style of Punjabi cinema, it has been received by the audience with open arms. The film has managed to make a room in the viewers’ hearts, who have been showering immense love and appreciation on this content driven movie.

The movie stars the Phillauri fame actress, Mehreen Pirzada as the female lead opposite Dev Kharoud in the film. She has made her debut in the Punjabi industry with this film. The film has an illustrious starcast including Manav Vij who is playing a negative character for the first time. The hero villain jodi is recieving a great response from the audience.

Produced under the banner of Dream Reality Films, Ravneet Chahal and White House Studios, the film has been directed by the ace director Mandeep Benipal. After Kakaji and Dakuaan Da Munda, this movie is Dev Kharoud and Mandeep Benipal’s third film together. The film has a fresh story, new concept and an interesting plot and it manages to keep the audience hooked till the end of the film. The movie is an intense drama and keeps the viewers at the edge of their seats throughout the film. It is heartwarming to see a film based on a different and unique theme being recieved so well by the Punjabi audience as the film has successfully entered its second week and is still going strong at the cinemas.
