Punjabi Singer turned Actor is all set for his directorial debut in Ardaas. Not only has he directed the film but also written the story of it. The film will be releasing on March 11, 2016.

The film stars Ammy Virk, Gurpreet Ghuggi, Rana Ranbir, BN Sharma, Karamjit Anmol and Mandy Takhar. The music of the film is given by Jatinder Shah. Interestingly Baljit Singh Deo, the director of Gippy Grewal’s last project Faraar is now just the DOP (Director of Photography) in this film.

The name of this project was kept under wraps, until the first look of the film was revealed on the first day of 2016.

The first look brings home the idea of a traditional Punjabi film. Four ace comedians of the industry share space on the first look, yet it seems to be a serious drama. It could also be a periodic film.

Ravneet Kaur Grewal, wife of Gippy, is credited for the costumes of the film.
