The nation continues to reel from the shock of Tuesday’s devastating terrorist attack in Pahalgam, which snatched away the lives of over 27 innocent people, mostly tourists. As India mourns, voices from Bollywood have joined in grief, anger, and solidarity.
Sunny Deol, known for his patriotic roles and powerful voice, said: “Only the innocent fall victim to terrorism. India must come together and think about eliminating this threat. I stand tall with the families in this time of sorrow.”
A visibly shaken Kangana Ranaut lashed out at the attackers, calling them “napunsaks (cowards)” for targeting unarmed civilians. “They opened fire on innocents who had no way to defend themselves. This isn’t war, this is cowardice,” she wrote.
Actor Vicky Kaushal called the massacre “absolutely inhumane.” He added, “My heart breaks for the families. I hope justice finds the culprits swiftly.”
Anushka Sharma expressed her heartbreak, calling the attack “cold-blooded.” She wrote: “This is a heinous act that must never be forgotten. My prayers go out to the grieving families.”
Randeep Hooda, echoing the nation’s call for action, said: “We must stand united. Justice must be swift and uncompromising. Our people’s safety must never be negotiable.”
Film stars like Kareena Kapoor, Manoj Bajpayee, Anil Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Khushi Kapoor, Rakul Preet Singh, Sonali Bendre, and Sonam Kapoor also offered condolences, joining millions in expressing their heartbreak and anger.
