The country has been in a state of unrest and turmoil because of the farmers' protests going on throughout the nation against the recent farm bill that has been regulated. Punjab, being the land of farmers, is one of the most affected states and the people of Punjab have been fighting against the bill with constant rebellion and protests.

The Punjabi industry artists have also extended full support to the farmers and have been raising their voices by actively taking part in the farmers' protests. Many artists also took part in the nationwide united protests by the farmers on September 25, 2020.

Popular Punjabi model and singer and ex-Bigg Boss contestant- Himanshi Khurana, who also was actively taking part in the protests, has tested positive for COVID-19. She shared the news with her fans today by posting on her instagram handle.

Himanshi contracted the virus after she participated in the farmers' protest on 25 September. In her recent Instagram post, she requested everyone to protest in a cautious and mindful manner while taking complete precautions. She also requested everyone who came in her contact to be careful and to get their tests done.
