Honsla Rakh Preview: Punjabi Mania present before you the full preview of upcoming Punjabi movie titled ‘Honsla Rakh’.

Punjabi superstar Diljit Dosanjh, who had completed 10 years as an actor earlier this year, hasn't gone 848 days without a Punjabi movie since his acting debut. With this being the longest wait for his movie among his plentiful fans, Dosanjh will unequivocally be the centre of attraction in his imminent movie titled 'Honsla Rakh'.

Dosanjh, who has featured in three Hindi movies between his last Punjabi movie in Jagdeep Sidhu's 'Shadaa' (2019) and now, has a cushion of the comic genre - something which he has excelled in on multiple occasions in the past.

Dosanjh, who has worked with actor Sonam Bajwa in as many as four Punjabi movies (including her cameo in Shadaa), is sharing screen with her for the fifth time in Honsla Rakh. The pair will be accompanied by Shehnaaz Kaur Gill, who is playing a lead role for the first time. In addition to this trio, Shinda Grewal and Kamaljeet Neeru are also playing pivotal roles in the movie.

Director Amarjit Singh Saron and writer Rakesh Dhawan, who have worked together in the past in 'Kala Shah Kala' (2019) and 'Jhalle' (2019) as director and dialogue writer respectively, have joined hands on this particular occasion as director-writer and have a lot of soaring expectations to cater to.

Honsla Rakh Preview

Released in the last week of September on the official YouTube channel of Diljit Dosanjh, Honsla Rakh's trailer has received in excess of a mammoth 23 million views on the same platform.

As hinted above, the 176-second trailer has enough evidence that Honsla Rakh is largely going to be on the comic lines. With Saron proving his mettle in this genre with first two movies, there isn't an iota of doubt regarding him delivering for the third time in a row.

Having said that, the title of the movie and the overall subject that it is expected to touch upon also have enough evidence that Honsla Rakh isn't just going to be about chortling and giggling. This assumption is further confirmed by the manner in which the actors have talked in various promotional interviews about them having played different "shades" in the movie.

Slated to release on the auspicious occasion of Dusshera tomorrow (October 15), Honsla Rakh might not be facing any direct clash in the cinema halls. However, considering the large number of movies and web-series releasing across OTT platforms tomorrow, it wouldn't be wrong to say that Honsla Rakh is in line to face stiff competition as the audiences will be spoilt for options.

If you are planning to watch the movie in the cinema halls on this Friday or on the subsequent days, don’t forget to share your views regarding the same in our comments section.
