Ammy Virk announces new film on his 28th birthday: The successful actor has announced yet another project with writer Jagdeep Sidhu.

Singer-turned-actor Ammy Virk, who has turned 28 today, seems to have received a birthday gift in the form of an upcoming movie titled ‘Hukma’.

Virk to his social media platforms to make the development public. While it is too early to assume anything but the poster of the movie hints at this being an action movie.

Already slated to play titular roles in ‘Challe Mundiyan’, ‘Puada‘ and ‘Qismat 2‘, Hukma will be Virk’s fourth Punjabi movie to release in the future.

It is worth mentioning that Virk was last seen in Jagdeep Sidhu’s ‘Sufna‘ in February which ended up doing exceptionally well both critically and commercially.

Written and directed by Gurpreet Singh Palheri and Jagdeep Sidhu, Hukma will be the former’s first movie as a director. Having worked as a line producer in many Punjabi movies, Palheri has previously written movies like Pankaj Batra’s ‘Sajjan Singh Rangroot‘ and Simerjit Singh’s ‘Nikka Zaildar 3’ (co-written with Jagdeep Sidhu).

Talking about Virk and Sidhu, their camaraderie is not unknown to the Punjabi industry. The pair has worked together with bountiful success in as many as six Punjabi movies in the last four years.

While there is no mention of Virk’s co-actors in the movie, Jarnail Singh’s name on the poster might see him playing a vital role in it.
