Imminent Punjabi movie 'Ishqaa' will set the ball rolling for the Punjabi film industry in the year 2019. The fact that a couple of Punjabi movies are releasing on the first Friday of the year in itself speaks about what the audiences can expect from the Punjabi industry this year.

The trailer of the movie was released three weeks ago on the official YouTube channel of Brand B. Along with the trailer of the movie, the songs sung by the likes of Hardy Sandhu, Dilpreet Dhillon and Akhil have popularized the movie among the audiences.

Ishqaa will mark the acting debut of Aman Singh Deep in the film industry. Having won the reality show named Mr. Punjab 2015, it would be intriguing to see him don the coat of an actor in this movie. In an interview with Punjabi Mania, he had disclosed the reason behind signing such a movie first up.

Apart from him, the movie stars Nav Bajwa, Payal Rajput, Karamjit Anmol, Shivinder Mahal, Gurpreet Kaur Chadha and Yaad Grewal. Bajwa has also directed the movie which is written by Ajay Kumar and Aman Sharma.

In which gives the expression of being a deluding tale of love, Ishqaa will revolve around a near-unheard genre of being a romantic thriller in the Punjabi industry. The triangular love story won't be just another romantic piece but will include an individual suffering from split personality disorder trying to cause harm in the existent love story.

While all of this sounds promising from the outset, here is hoping it to be as intriguing and riveting as it looks. Bajwa playing a grey shade in the movie will also be one of the reasons behind people visiting the cinema halls on this Friday, i.e., January 4. If the movies contains the mettle to click among the audiences, it is highly likely to be a special experience for the Punjabi viewers.

Ishqaa has been produced under the banners of Nav Bajwa Films and Turbanator Entertainment. The movie will receive competition from Devi Sharma's 'Dulla Velly', which will also be releasing on the same day. With no major Hindi movie releasing on the given day, Ishqaa has a golden opportunity to cash-in at the box-office.
