It is finally time for upcoming Punjabi movie titled 'Jind Mahi' to hit the silver screens on the back of getting announced and (slightly) delayed within a year. Readers must note that the movie had been announced for the first time exactly a year ago.
The trailer of the movie had released on the official YouTube channel of White Hill Music exactly three weeks ago. At the time of writing this article, it has received in excess of 8.5 million views on the same platform.
In what is going to her eighth association with illustrious production house White Hill Studios as a lead actor, Jind Mahi will be Sonam Bajwa's third Punjabi movie of 2022. Actor Ajay Sarkaria will be playing the lead opposite Bajwa in his second movie as was the case in his debut movie titled 'Ardab Mutiyaran' (2019).
Although in a special apperance, singer-actor Gurnam Bhullar will be playing a crucial role in the movie. Raj Shoker, who has made a name for herself as a model in multiple Punjabi music videos in the recent years, will be making her acting debut in Jind Mahi. Apart from these four names, the movie will also star Baninder Bunny, Shavinder Mahal and Sukhwinder Chahal in pivotal roles.

Jind Mahi will present another case of White Hill Studios handing a directorial debut to one of their assistant directors in Sameer Pannu. Apart from directing a movie for the first time, Pannu has also co-written its script with producer Manmord Singh Sidhu and screenplay with Sidhu and writer Jatinder Lall.
It is evident from the trailer that the two protagonists in Bajwa and Sarkaria will cross path accidentally only to form a strong bond between them. In what will be a quintessential love triangle involving Bajwa, Sarkaria and Bhullar, how Jind Mahi's script will treat them alongside other characters will hold the key.
Jind Mahi has been produced by Gunbir Singh Sidhu and Manmord Singh Sidhu under the banner of White Hill Studios. White Hill's third movie of 2022, Jind Mahi's primary competition at the box-office will be a last-week release in Amrinder Gill's 'Chhalla Mud Ke Nahi Aaya'.
