After the success of the 2017 film Jora 10 Numbaria, the makers of the film had announced it’s sequel which was  titled as ‘Jora- The Second Chapter’.  The makers had shared the first look of the film in April this year. The movie will be very different from the first part but will be based on the same genre. These days the Punjabi film industry is witnessing more variety in genres and filmmakers are opting for experimentation when it comes to selection of the movies.

The first poster of the film made it clear that like the first part, the sequel of the film will also be led by Deep Sidhu. Deep Sidhu will play the lead character- Jora in the movie. A new poster of the film is out and it reveals that along with Deep Sidhu, popular singer of the Punjabi industry- Singga will also be playing a significant part in the movie. This film will mark Singga’s acting debut in the film industry. It is not clear whether both the actors will play parallel leads or not, but it is evident from the recent poster that Singga will be playing an important role in the film.

The film is being made under the banner of Bathinde Wale Bai Films in association with Loud Roar Films and Raj Motion Pictures. Amardeep Singh Gill, who had directed Jora 10 Numbaria, is directing the sequel as well. The film is being bankrolled by Mandeep Singh Sidhu, Harpreet Singh Devgun and Jerry Brar. The movie will hit the silver screen on 6 March 2020.

The female starcast of the movie includes renowned actresses – Mahi Gill and Japji Khaira. Mahi Gill, has done quality work in both Bollywood and the Punjabi industry and is known for her acting in movies like Carry On Jatta, Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster, Dev D and many more. Japji Khaira, has also done significant work in the industry including films like Son Of Manjeet Singh, Ardaas 2 and Mitti- Virasat Babbaran Di. Both Mahi and Japji, will share the screen space for the second time, as they both have worked together once, in the 2007 film Mitti Wajaan Maardi.

The film will be of a different and new genre and will offer something fresh to the audience. The makers are confident that the sequel will be even better than the first part and will bring something new for the fans. The fans are also looking forward to the film.
