The Punjabi film industry is all geared up for releasing new films after the long Corona break. New movies are being announced and film shootings have started. The first Punjabi film, that will hit the screens after the lockdown, is all set for its release. The title of the movie is ‘Kuriyan Jawan, Bapu Preshaan’.

Starring the king of comedy- Karamjit Anmol in the main lead, the movie will be a family drama packed with entertainment and comedy. Other than Karamjit Anmol, the starcast of the film includes Ekta Gulati Khera, Piyu Sharma, Love Gill, Lucky Dhaliwal and Kaka Kautaki. The official poster of the movie is out and is doing rounds on the internet.

Ranjiv Singla Productions, which had produced the 2018 blockbuster comedy Laavan Phere, is producing this upcoming comic flick. The film has been directed by Avtar Singh, who has directed many Punjabi films like Ranjha Refugee, Rupinder Gandhi 2 and Mindo Taseeldarni in the past.

The movie is likely to be the first Punjabi film to hit the screens post Covid. The movie will be released worldwide by the Omjee Star Studios on April 16, 2021. The fans are excited and eager to watch a Punjabi film on the big screens after a whole year.
