Kokka Trailer Review: Punjabi Mania present before you the full trailer review of upcoming Punjabi movie titled ‘Kokka’.

The trailer of upcoming Punjabi movie titled 'Kokka' released last evening on the official YouTube channel of Gem Tunes Punjabi. At the time of writing this article, the trailer has received in vicinity of 1.5 million views on the same platform.

Kokka, which was originally announced in 2019 with the same leading pair but another director, is among the six Punjabi movies releasing this month. The movie has now been directed by Santosh Subash Thite and Bhanu Thakur. While Thite has directed a movie for the second time after 'Munda Hi Chahida' (2019), it is Thakur's (assistant director in Munda Hi Chahida) first as a director.

Rupinder Inderjit, who had made his directorial debut in 'Main Viyan Nahi Karona Tere Naal' earlier this year, has written the script of Kokka.

Interestingly, all the above mentioned names have worked in the past (is some capacity or the other) with the lead pair of Kokka, i.e., Neeru Bajwa and Gurnam Bhullar. Working together for the first time, Bajwa and Bhullar will be supported by fellow actors namely Gurpreet Bhangu, Rupinder Rupi and Baljinder Kaur.

Kokka, which revolves around a riveting premise of romance with an age difference between two individuals, is a refreshing subject especially in the Punjabi film industry. If executed well, Kokka might even attain the avant-garde status primarily because of the fact that the romance is between a younger male and an elder female actor.

As far as the trailer is concerned, one feels that a 182-second video is quite straightforward in terms of revealing most of the things. Having said that, the lack of a surprise element in the trailer might well be accommodated in the movie for one doesn't know what's exactly in store for us on May 20.
