Punjabi Film Laavan Phere which released on February 16, 2018 is now entering into its 3rd week with over 400 shows being screened at over 100 cinemas in its 3rd week. This feet has helped Punjabi Cinema open its New Year with a bang after a dud start in the month of January. Laavan Phere collected a staggering Rs. 35,00,000 on it’s 3rd Friday which is a drop of just around 50 percent from its 1st Friday and you might be surprised to read that the film outnumbered it’s 2nd Friday which collected Rs. 29,00,000 giving the film an increase of about 20 percent which is something which is never heard of in Punjabi Cinema before.

This Roshan Prince-Rubina Bajwa starrer has surprised many who’s who of the film industry who placed their bets against the acceptance of the film by the audiences. Entering into it’s 3rd week, the film has collected Rs. 6.75 Crores at the East Punjab Box Office. The film has added another Rs. 35 Lacs from Rest of India territories and around Rs. 3 Crores from Overseas placing it well above Rs. 11 Crores in just 15 days Worldwide.

The film was released worldwide in cinemas on February 16 by Omjee Group and Produced by Karamjit Anmol, Prem Prakash Gupta and Ranjiv Singla. It was directed by Smeep Kang.
