The trailer of the much awaited and speculated film Lekh released a few days back and took the social media by a storm. The trailer gave a glimpse of the storyline and the characters of the movie, and won the hearts of the audience even before the release of the film. 

Starring Gurnam Bhullar and Tania in the lead, Lekh has been written by the renowned writer and director of the Punjabi industry- Jagdeep Sidhu, and has been directed by debutant director Manvir Brar. Bankrolled by Manmord Sidhu and Gunbir Singh Sidhu, the movie is being produced by White Hill Studios, and is all set to hit the cinemas on 1 April 2022.

The core team of the film including Gurnam Bhullar, Tania and Jagdeep Sidhu had an exclusive interview with Punjabi Mania and shared their feelings about the film, their professional journeys, about their future plans and their excitement for this upcoming love drama. The most exciting part of the interview is when both the young stars reveal their childhood crush.

In the interview, Jagdeep Sidhu explained that he is inclined towards love stories as the genre is not very common and not much explored in the Punjabi industry. He mentioned that Lekh will be one of the very few Punjabi films that will exhibit a teenage love story, as the globally celebrated genre of teenage romance is not popular in Punjabi cinema. 

Sidhu also shared his experience of making this movie and his exhilaration to work with Gurnam and Tania. Jagdeep Sidhu had launched both the stars in the Punjabi cinema with his films , and in the interview he expressed this happiness to witness their growth in the industry. 

In the interview, both Tania and Gurnam talked about their struggle days and how they perceive their respective struggle as a training process. They vividly talked about the trailer, the movie, their experience of working again with Jagdeep Sidhu, Gurnam’s transformation for the movie and many other film related topics.
