Maa Da Ladla Trailer Review: Immense potential of offbeat comedy due to compelling casting

Maa Da Ladla Trailer Review: Punjabi Mania present before you the full trailer review of upcoming Punjabi movie titled ‘Maa Da Ladla’.

It was less than two months ago that the shooting of upcoming Punjabi movie titled 'Maa Da Ladla' had commenced in the UK.

An efficient team effort has resulted in the trailer of the movie releasing on the official YouTube channel of Gem Tunes Punjabi last night. Hence, the trailer getting delayed from evening to night was understandable.

Maa Da Ladla will mark the second collaboration between actor-producer Neeru Bajwa and lyricist-singer-actor Tarsem Singh Jassar. Playing lead together for the first time after Ksshitij Chaudhary's 'Uda Aida(2019), Bajwa and Jassar are joined by an interesting cast comprising of Roopi Gill, Nirmal Rishi, Naseem Vicky, Iftikhar Thakur, Qaiser Piya, Rupinder Rupi, Sukhwinder Chahal and Swastik Bhagat in this movie.

In what will be his third movie as a director, Uday Partap Singh will have a second directorial release in 2022 after 'Main Te Bapu'. Writer Jagdeep Warring, who had made his debut as a script writer in Main Te Bapu, has written his second script in Maa Da Ladla. Interestingly, Warring had written the screenplay and dialogues of Jassar-starer 'Galwakdiwhich had released a couple of weeks before Main Te Bapu.

Maa Da Ladla Trailer Review

Maa Da Ladla will primarily see Bajwa searching for a father for her son more than a husband for herself. A task, which she won't be doing for the first time on-screen, Bajwa's search can be predicted to be packed to the gunwales with comedy.

By the looks of a 210-second trailer, this is where the casting of the movie will come into play. The presence of notable actors famous for their comic timing in Naseem Vicky and Iftikhar Thakur appear to have proved their mettle with respect to making people laugh in the trailer itself. In what is going to be Vicky's debut in the Punjabi film industry, his on-screen presence seems to be bringing a flicker of freshness.

Not a debutant by any means, actor Roopi Gill working in a Punjabi movie after more than three years is another reason why Maa Da Ladla was being awaited by her fans. Gill, who has previously worked successfully with superstar Amrinder Gill not once but twice, also adds substance to the trailer.
