Manje Bistre Opens to highest Worldwide Numbers on Day 1
Manje Bistre Opens to highest Worldwide Numbers on Day 1

Manje Bistre took a bumper opening of 80-85% in Punjab and was very good in Delhi city. The film has benefited from the holiday of Good Friday and also the hype the film has been carrying ever since the teaser for the film was released in January. The film is easily beating Fast & Furious 8 in all centers of Punjab and Haryana barring Gurgaon and Faridabad and even in Delhi city it is beating it at select multiplexes where both the films are playing.

In East Punjab Manje Bistre has the 3rd biggest numbers ever for a Punjabi film only behind the Sardaar ji series collecting Rs. 2,00,00,000 on Day 1. In the other circuits, the film collected another Rs. 25,00,000 taking the All India Day 1 total to Rs. 2.25 Crores. The only reason why the Opening Record in East Punjab is not broked by Manje Bistre is the release of Fast & Furious 8 alongside, otherwise we would have seen the Opening Record shatters by at least 10-15 lacs or even more.
