Mitran Nu Shaunk Hathyaran Da News: The upcoming action-packed Punjabi movie has received a new release date.
Director Sagar S. Sharma, who made a comeback in the Punjabi film industry after six years with ‘Jugni Yaaran Di‘, is all set to release his second Punjabi movie of the year in ‘Mitran nu Shaunk Hathyaran Da’.
It is worth mentioning that Sharma has directed ‘Burrraahh‘ (2012) and ‘Heer & Hero‘(2013) in the past. He also made his Bollywood debut with the movie named ‘Titli‘ (2017).

Slated to release on July 19 initially, Mitran Nu Shaunk Hathyaran Da got delayed as Jugni Yaaran Di had released on the same. The movie will now hit the silver screens on November 8.
While the full cast of the movie remains unknown as of now, Punjabi Mania understands that Deep Joshi, Preet Baath, Veer Vashisht, Kumar Ajay and Siddhi Ahuja will be seen playing pivotal roles in the movie. Watch these actors in conversation with Punjabi Mania during the shoot of the movie below:
It is evident from the title of the movie and this video that it will be based on the crime genre, something which is a rarity in the contemporary Punjabi film industry. The script of the movie has been written by Kumar Ajay.
Mitran nu Shaunk Hathyaran Da has been produced by Munna Shukul, Jayesh Patel, Shikha Sharma and Harinder Saini under the banners of Shukul Showbiz, UV Motion Pictures and Sagar S. Sharma.
It is worth mentioning that producer Shukul is originally from Gujarat and will be making his debut in the Punjabi film industry with this movie. Their recently released Gujarati movie titled ‘Chaashni‘ is about to complete 50 days in cinema halls in states like Gujarat and Maharashtra. It is indeed a blessing for the Punjabi industry that people from varying backgrounds are seeing potential here.
