Music of Punjabi Film Double Di Trouble was released on Saturday by veteran actor Dharmendra and Gippy Grewal in Chandigarh. Along with Dharmendra and Gippy Grewal, Gurpreet Ghuggi, Ashok Ghai, co-producer Kenny Chhabra and director of Speed Records Dinesh Aulakh were also present.

The album consists of a total of nine songs and the music has been composed by Jatinder Shah, Meet Brothers, Anjaan, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Popsy and Pav Dharia. Among the lyricists, names like Kumaar, MS Sadiq, Jagdev Mann, Happy Raikoti and Veet Baljit are there. Gippy Grewal, Jazzy B, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Ranjit Bawa, Kenny Chhabra and Khushboo Grewal have lent their voices for playback. On this occasion, Dharmendra said that music is one of the major ingredients of Punjabiyat. Music of this film will make you laugh and dance. I am happy to see such great musical talent in Punjabi Cinema. Gippy Grewal told that I worked with different music directors for this film so that the music could get better. These composers were selected according to the lyrics and style of the song. Also one of my songs which was shot has not been featured in the film because Rahat sahab’s song was more important to feature. I specially talked to Ghai sir for this.

Speaking on behalf of Speed Records, Dinesh Aulakh said that the music of this film is way different from previous films. Rahat Fateh Ali Khan’s music and songs are getting wonderful response in the digital market space.

Along with the music a mobile app (for android and IOS platforms) was also released on the occasion. Producer Ashok Ghai said that the best team of Punjabi film industry has made this film and now this mobile application will connect us directly to the audience.
