Meet Lovely, an ambitious woman who once tells a lie but to recover from that lie how she falls trap in the strings of lies, which leads to a big confusion in the lives of many people. This confusion becomes a rib tickling comedy drama and this is soon coming to your nearest screens. This Punjabi flick ‘Lovely Te Lovely’ has been jointly directed by S. Ravi Kumar and Minar Malhotra. Ravi is also the producer of the film and Minar happens to be the writer of the story and one of the supporting actors too. Film stars Gurjit Singh, Pooja Thakur, Hardeep Gill and Sonika Chauhan. The music of the film was released on Saturday at Hotel JW Marriott, Sector-35.
Music has been composed by Pamma Singh, Singh Iqbal and Nitesh Jyoti and the album has been released on Lokdhun and has four songs in total. The story is a fun ride and so is the music. Songs have been titled ‘Lovely Lovely’, ‘Rab Ne Kabul Kar Layi’, ‘Mahiya’ and ‘Jatt Piche Hattda Nahi’. The lyrics have been penned by Pamma Singh, Sandy, Binder Nathumajra, Kamz Singh and Harjit Sukhparm. The singers are Pamma Singh again, Satnam and Baban Wadala. The title track of the film has the tadka of rap by Sandy.
Lead actor Gurjit Singh is a known name in Punjabi anchoring industry. He has been doing a number of stage and TV shows for PTC Channel and has anchored various award ceremonies too. He said, “It is a dream come true. I have been interviewing various stars of the industry in my shows and I would always wonder to sit on the other side of the table. I think I have got the best start with this comedy flick because this industry belongs to that genre. People will love the music as the songs have been timed very nicely throughout the story.”
Lead actress Pooja Thakur, who is debuting with the film, is also very optimistic about the music of the film. She said that the cinematography and choreography of the songs are in good sync and a delight to watch on the big screen.
Director S. Ravi Kumar commented that the story is youthful and so is the music. Our music directors judged the pulse of the story very rightly and packed melodious numbers in this album. Minar Malhotra said that the number of songs is limited as compared to a routine Punjabi flick but the audience will thoroughly enjoy the background score which has been beautifully placed with the comic timing of our talented actors.
Speaking on behalf of music label Lokdhun, Dinesh said that the listeners are going to love the numbers. Distributor of the film Manish Sahni said that the film is certainly going to be loved by everyone.
