Mohali: Punjab Police have arrested music company producer Pinky Dhaliwal following allegations of exploitation and financial misconduct involving popular Punjabi singer Sunanda Sharma. Mataur Police Station was arrested after an FIR was registered against Dhaliwal on the directions of Punjab Women Commission Chairperson Raj Lali Gill.

Raj Lali Gill Takes Suo Motu Action

Raj Lali Gill took suo motu notice of the case, citing serious allegations against Dhaliwal. She stated that the music producer had exploited Sunanda Sharma, withheld her dues for years, forced her into an unfair contract, and kept her under constant threat.

"No artist should suffer exploitation. We took immediate action after reviewing the allegations," said Gill.
