Actor Jimmy Sheirgill made a starking relevation about his previous Punjabi Film, Hero..Naam Yaad Rakhi. The film, which was directed by Baljit Singh Deo, released earlier this year.
Jimmy was in Chandigarh for the music release of his upcoming Punjabi movie Shareek. He had all praises for the film, before a journalist intervened and question him for praising Hero..Naam Yaad Rakhi in the same fashion. “No, I never said that, you can take any interview on record, I always said it’s a thriller, it’s a suspense film, a different concept,” responded Jimmy.
The actor was also miffed about he being sidelined in the film. “I walked through the film. I didn’t had to perform. I used to tell Baljit (Singh Deo) also, you have kept the title Hero but all the performance scenes are with Surveen (Chawla, the heroine)” quipped Jimmy.
The actor said that he was laughed on for such comments. He even have recordings of their talks. “Why do you call me in the morning (on the sets)? I have to do all the hard work on the voice overs by narrating the story.”
