Ammy Virk, Sonam Bajwa starrer Nikka Zaildar took a Bumper opening In East Punjab and was just shy of crossing 1 crore nett on opening day in the circuit and had the 8th highest opening ever for a Punjabi film in the circuit and 4th highest of the year surpassing Ardaas and Love Punjab and only behind Ambarsariya, Bambukat and Sardaarji 2 .
