Filmmaker Sudhir Mishra remembered Nirmal Pandey on his eighth death anniversary on Sunday saying the late actor was a small-town boy with a cosmopolitan face.
Mishra re-tweeted a post about Nirmal, who has featured in films like “Bandit Queen”, “Godmother”, “Is Raat Ki Subah Nahi” and “Train To Pakistan”.
“Went away too soon. A small-town boy with a cosmopolitan face.
An actor lost in the idiotic nineties. Really nice guy,” Mishra tweeted.
The actor died aged 48 after a heart attack.
He also featured in films like “Auzaar” and “Daayra”.
On the work front, Mishra currently awaits the release of his upcoming film “Daas Dev”, starring Aditi Rao Hydari, Rahul Bhatt and Richa Chadha.
