Video director-turned-model-turned-actor-turned-singer Parmish Verma is all set to make his directorial debut with the upcoming movie named ‘Dil Diyan Gallan’. The movie is co-directed by another debutant, Uday Partap Singh, who had earlier written ‘Qissa Punjab‘ and ‘Rocky Mental‘ (screenplay and dialogues).
Verma, who made his acting debut in Rocky Mental last year will be also playing the lead role in the movie. Wamiqa Gabbi will be seen playing the lead role in the movie.
Parmish Verma and Uday Partap Singh have also written the story of the movie. Jatinder Shah, a big shot in the Punjabi music industry, will work on the music of the movie. The movie is being produced under the banner of Speed Records, Pitaara Talkies and Omjee Group.
Having made a mark by directing music videos in the Punjabi industry, Verma’s directorial debut in a movie was a much-awaited affair. The potential which he has possessed over the years in the music videos directed by him deserved to be converted into a movie. Becoming another young director in our industry, people (especially his plethora of fans) would be waiting for Dil Diyan Gallan to release next year.
