In what has come as a dreadful news, video director-turned-actor-turned-singer Parmish Verma was shot by an unknown person yesterday. The incident is supposed to be happened late in the evening after the heartthrob singer completed his performance at a local restaurant in Elante Mall, Chandigarh.

According to reports, the singer has been shot on his knee. In what has come as a relive for the fans of Punjabi industry is that the singer is out of danger. He is currently being treated at Fortis Hospital, Mohali.

A disturbing news such as this had generated a lot of inquisitiveness amongst the people as to who was the brain behind this incident. Post the incident, Dilpreet Singh Dahan, took to Facebook to accept that he had shot the singer. This is not the first time that a news of someone shooting at an individual and confessing it on Facebook has happened in Punjab. It speaks a lot about the law and order situation in the state.
