Please Kill Me: Shooting of the upcoming Punjabi movie commenced earlier in the day amidst the presence of its lead actors.
Actor Jagjeet Sandhu will be seen playing the lead role in upcoming Punjabi movie titled 'Please Kill Me'. The development was made public after Sandhu took to his social media profiles to share glimpses of the first day of shoot.
While singer-turned-actor Ammy Virk and singer Maninder Buttar were also present on the set of the movie, they aren't part of it by any means.
Sandhu, who is now fondly known across the country for playing the character of Tope Singh aka Chaaku in Amazon Prime Video's 'Paatal Lok' earlier this year, had recently shot 'Taxi' alongside Mahesh Manjrekar and was part of a short film titled 'Jawaani'.
Please Kill Me will also witness actress Megha Sharma playing the lead role. While Sharma was last seen in Kabir Khan's 'The Forgotten Army' earlier this year, she will also be seen in Vikram Thori's 'Good Luck Jatta' which also stars Ninja and Rubina Bajwa.
Director Prem Singh Sidhu, who has a couple of unreleased movies under his belt titled 'Zindagi Zindabad' and 'Desi', will be directing the movie.
Two famous production houses in Villagers Films Studio and Pitaara Movies will bankroll the project. At this time, the makers haven't revealed the platform on which Please Kill Me will be uploaded. A handful of Punjabi movie that have been made till date, have all released on YouTube.
