New year marks new beginnings and with the arrival of 2022, many new projects will be shot and many new films will be released. On the very second day of the new year, a new film has gone on the floors. The title of the movie is ‘Maa Da Sohna’.

The shooting of the movie began today that is on 2 January 2022. The team took it to Instagram to share the news with the audience, who are excitedly looking forward to a film packed year. ‘Maa Da Sohna’ is being made under the banner of YDW Production and is being produced by Naresh Singla. 

Popular Punjabi model- Sruishty Mann, who is known for popular numbers including Jhanjar, Munda Haan Da, Red Suit, White Gold and many more will play the female lead in the movie. Maa Da Sohna will mark Sruishty’s film debut in the Punjabi industry. Sruishty Mann has worked with the top artists of the Punjabi industry and enjoys a huge fan base. The model was last seen in Jass Bajwa’s hit track Jhooth Bolda and is now all set for her acting debut.

Maa Da Sohna is being directed by Harpreet Butala and the movie has been written by Torry Moudgil. The male lead in the film will be played by the super talented Punjabi artist- Karamjit Anmol. Sruishty Mann will be playing the female lead opposite Karamjit Anmol in the film. 

The super experienced star- Karamjit Anmol and the debutant Sruishty Mann make an unusual jodi but the fans are confident that the fresh and talented duo will definitely rock the silver screens. Not many details of the movie have been revealed yet. The release date of the film will be disclosed soon by the team. The movie will be an entertainment packed family drama.
