This could be the biggest news for the fans of Punjabi Cinema, especially the fans of Diljit Dosanjh. Diljit, the heart-throb of Punjabi Cinema is soon to work with yet another the heart-throb of the nation after Kareena Kapoor. If very reliable sources are to be believed, Diljit Dosanjh has signed his second Bollywood film, this time in a lead role opposite none other than the former Miss World Priyanka Chopra.

Diljit’s Bollywood debut film ‘Udta Punjab’ also starring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt is yet to release on January 22, 2016 and he’s already moved on to his next project in Bollywood. Presently, Diljit is shooting for Ambarsariya and has Mukhtiar Chadha lined up for release on November 27.

If my guess is right, this Diljit-Priyanka starrer (if it is actually happening) will be directed by none other than Anurag Singh. Anurag Singh is a household name in Punjabi Cinema after having made films like Punjab 1984, Jatt & Juliet 1 & 2 and Yaar Anmulle.
