SGPC demands ban on ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’

Amritsar:- Popular TV show ‘Taarak Mehta ka ooltah Chashmah’ has been entertaining people since 2008. A shocking news about Sony Sab popular TV show ‘Taarak Mehta ka ooltah Chashmah’ has surfaced with people demanding to ban the show. The Shiromani Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee (SGPC) has demanded immediate ban on ‘Taarak Mehta ka ooltah Chashmah’ where one of the character is seen in guise of Guru Gobind Singh Ji. The character, Roshan Singh Sodhi, was portrayed as Guru Gobind Singh which wasn’t appreciated by the community. Let us tell you that, the first episode of ‘Taarak Mehta ka ooltah Chashmah’ was broadcast on July 28, 2008. Since then, it continues to entertain the audience.
SGPC Chief Kirpal Singh Badungar said in a statement issued to the media “The serial has hurt the Sikh community by portraying the living nature of the tenth Guru Gobind Singh ji and this is against” Sikh principles “. Badungar said, “Any actor or any character can not equate himself with the tenth Sikh Guru Gobind Singh, which is an unforgivable act”
