Shareek 2 is without a doubt ‘The Most Awaited Film Of The Year’. It is the sequel of the blockbuster Punjabi film Shareek and the audience have been waiting for the film from very long, after it got delayed in 2020 due to the Covid crisis. The film is now all set to hit the cinemas on 8 July and the fans are super excited for this much awaited release.
The team of the film is also equally thrilled about the release of the movie. The movie stars Jimmy Sheirgill and Dev Kharoud in pivotal roles. The female lead of the film is being played by the Munda Faridkotia actress Sharan Kaur. In an exclusive interview with Punjabi Mania, Sharan Kaur shared her experience of doing this big project and working alongside such big names of Punjabi cinema.
In the interview, Sharan shared that it was her ‘fan girl’ moment to share screen with Jimmy Sheirgill, who is not only the biggest star of Punjabi cinema, but is also a big name country wide. She shared that she had got a fan picture clicked with him a few years back and now she feels blessed to be working in the capacity of his co-actor in such a prestigious project. She also shared that after seeing her performance, Jimmy Sheirgill recommended her name for web series and other projects.
Sharan Kaur shared her journey and experience of the movie vividly in the interview. She told Punjabi Mania how she bagged the film, despite of the fact that many big names of the industry had been shortlisted for the female lead of the movie. She considers the film as a blessing for her career and is super excited for its release.
On being asked about her experience with Dev Kharoud while working in the film, she had all good things to say. Dev Kharoud has already declared Sharan Kaur as the next superstar and she mentioned how his motivation pushes and inspires her even more. She said that she had a dream to work with the action star after watching Blackia, and with Shareek 2 all her dreams have turned into reality. She mentioned that she feels lucky to have worked with two such big names in a single project.
In the interview, Sharan also mentioned how positive thinking and patience helped her to cope up with the long delay and postponement of the film’s release date after being shot, due to the unprecedented health crisis in the world. She shared many other details about the film and her journey in the very engaging and exciting interview. She is extremely excited for the release of the movie and is looking forward to a great response from the audience.
