Sidhu Moosewala’s Posthumous EP to Release on June 11, Confirms Singer’s Father

Sidhu Moosewala EP: Fans of the late Punjabi music icon Sidhu Moosewala have reason to rejoice, as a posthumous EP featuring his unreleased work is all set to drop on June 11, nearly two years after his tragic death. The announcement was made by the singer's father, Balkaur Singh, who confirmed that the much-anticipated EP will be released across platforms next month.

According to Balkaur Singh, the songs will stay true to Moosewala’s powerful lyrical style, dealing with themes of identity, legacy, and social commentary, elements that defined his meteoric rise in the Punjabi music industry.

“This project is our way of keeping Sidhu’s voice alive,” said Balkaur Singh. Sidhu Moosewala, whose real name was Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu, was known for revolutionizing Punjabi music with a bold and unapologetic voice.

His tracks consistently broke records and resonated deeply with youth both in India and abroad. His untimely death in a violent shooting shocked millions and left a deep void in the Punjabi music world.

The posthumous EP is expected to be a tribute not only to Sidhu's artistry but also to his enduring influence on music and culture.
