Sikander 2 Preview: Punjabi Mania present before you the full movie preview of imminent Punjabi movie titled ‘Sikander 2’.

There is no hiding to the fact that the biggest competition for imminent Punjabi movie titled ‘Sikander 2’ will be ‘Sikander’ itself. Given how well Sikander was received by the audiences in 2013, Sikander 2 unequivocally has big boots to fill upon its release tomorrow, i.e., August 2.

While Jatinder Mauhar had directed the first part, Manav Shah has helmed the second part. Coming on the back of his directorial debut in ‘Laatu‘ last year, Shah also has huge expectations to fulfill. Sikander 2’s trailer had released on the official YouTube channel of Geet MP3 nearly four weeks ago. At the time of writing this article, it has received in excess of 3.5 million views on the same platform.

The movie will see Kartar Cheema, Guri, Sawan Rupowali, Nikeet Dhillon, Rahul Jungral, Victor John, Sanjeev Attri, Navdeep Kaler, Karan Battan, Vicky Suvinder and Seema Kaushal playing vital roles in it.

Sikander 2 will also mark the acting debut of singer Guri in the Punjabi industry. Nikeet Dhillon, who recently featured in Gurnam Bhullar’s ‘Waake’, will also be seen on the silver screen for the first time. Sawan Rupowali, who made her debut in Vijay Kumar Arora’s ‘Harjeeta‘ last year, seems to have a prominent role in this movie as well.

Cheema’s presence in and as Sikander suggests that the story will be continued from the first part itself. If the same happens, what connects both the stories will be intriguing to watch. The same being done under a new director and writer (Dheeraj Rattan) is worth looking forward to.

There is no going into a safe house about the fact that the movie will rotate around student politics and its ramifications in the state. While the subject has been tried many times in the Punjabi industry, what different will be portrayed in Sikander 2 will only be known after watching the movie in cinema halls tomorrow.

Sikander 2 has been produced by Khushwinder Parmar, Swapan Monga, Anmol Monga, Vipan Gill, Balkar Bhullar and KV Dhillon under the banners of Geet MP3 and Monga Brothers. Despite releasing alongside Shilpi Dasgupta’s ‘Khandaani Shafakhana’, Sikander 2 should be able to make a mark of its own primarily due to the very contrasting genres of the two projects.
