Sufna movie: Ammy Virk and Tania-starer walks unorthodox path before release

Ammy Virk and Tania-starrer walks unorthodox path: The forthcoming Punjabi movie’s build-up doesn’t follow the usual guidelines.

Forthcoming Punjabi movie titled ‘Sufna’ will reunite the blockbuster ‘Qismat’ team to a large extent. Barring actress Sargun Mehta, Sufna will once again see singer-turned-actor Ammy Virk and actress Tania play pivotal roles in a script written and directed by Jagdeep Sidhu.

Being promoted as an outright love story, Sufna is expected to replicate the kind of impact which Qismat had created in 2018.

Much like Qismat, the makers of Sufna decided to release the first song before the release of the trailer. In ‘Qubool A’, the first song of the movie found an instant place in the hearts of the audiences. Soulfully written by Jaani and musically directed by B Praak, the song came as another familiarity to Qismat.

Just when one thought that Qubool A would be followed by the trailer of the movie, it wasn’t to be as the makers soon made public the second song of the movie titled ‘Jaan Deyan Ge’. While even the second song was accepted well by the audiences, an official announcement regarding the trailer of the movie is still pending.

On the contrary, the makers have now decided to release the third song titled Channa Ve‘. While the songs are building the ballyhoo in the right way, it still remains to be seen as to when the trailer of the movie will be released.

It is worth mentioning that Amberdeep Singh’s ‘Ashke’ (2018) had done well in the Punjabi industry despite not releasing the trailer till the eve of the release date.

With makers of Sufna frequently releasing songs, it speaks highly about their approach with respect to the build-up to the movie. It is worth mentioning that releasing praiseworthy songs without the trailer further increases the excitement regarding the latter and is most likely to work in the favour of the movie.
