In a candid interview, Nidhi reflected on Sushant and Rhea’s relationship, describing it as a deep and loving bond. She said,
"As a couple, they were full of love. It was a beautiful relationship. They were always there for each other."

She also recalled the emotional turmoil Rhea’s family went through after being thrust into the public eye.
"I was in constant touch with Rhea during that time. I don’t think she or her family even had a moment to grieve. They were still in shock, mourning their loss, when suddenly, they were thrown into survival mode. They couldn’t even sit and process their pain properly."

‘She Came Home With Bruises’: The Toll of Media Scrutiny

Nidhi further recounted a heartbreaking moment when Rhea stepped out of her house and was mobbed by journalists.
"The day she walked out and reporters shoved their mics in her face, she came home with bruises all over her arms and face. That’s when we realized—it was just the beginning of a long nightmare."

She recalled sitting with Rhea’s mother and watching the media frenzy unfold on television.
"I felt completely helpless. Watching her fall to the ground like that, I will never forget that moment. It was the most devastating time of their lives."
