The popular singer, lyricist and actor Tarsem Jassar is recieving a lot of love, appreciation and applause after his recent performance in the film Rabb Da Radio 2, which released this month. The singer and actor has a large fan base and enjoys great popularity amongst the public.

Based on his popularity and influence on the public, Jassar has been appointed the new district icon for Fatehgarh Sahib under the Systematic Voters’ Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) programme.
Jaspreet Singh, Additional District Electoral Officer-Cum-Additional Deputy Commissioner, handed over the appointment letter to Jassar on 3 April 2019. He said that since Tarsem Jassar has many fans and millions of followers on social media, he can effectively put across his message, and encourage people to register themselves as voters and motivate them to cast their votes in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

Jassar is very happy on getting this opportunity to work for the betterment of the society. He is glad that he has been given this responsibility and he is resolute to to his work with full dedication.
