Thangalaan Movie Based on True Real Story? Indian director Pa Ranjith and actor Chiyaan Vikram have joined hands for one of the most anticipated films 'Thangalaan'. The makers have released the theatrical trailer today and the cinema buzzers are wondering if the film is based on real-life incidents. 

The film is set to release next month. The makers said that the film is based on the original story of Kolar Gold Fields (KGF), discovered by the Britishers who looted the land and exploited the locals.

In the meanwhile, an evil force drives the villagers to create chaos which hints that supernatural powers are protecting the gold.

The visuals and the graphics of the film propelled the fans to find out if the film Thangalaan is based on a true real story or not. 

The trailer shows yet another transformation of Vikram who always creates buzz with his stellar appearance. For Thangalaan, he has gone beyond his limitations for a whole different avatar.
